EU CyberNet Summer School 2025

EU CyberNet in partnership with the Federal Foreign Office of Germany (Auswärtiges Amt) is organising the 4th EU CyberNet Summer School “Cyber Crisis Management: Navigating Disinformation and Cyber Attacks in the AI Era” from 13th to 15th August 2025 in Berlin, Germany on managing and navigating cyber crises in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and disinformation.

The summer school aims to equip EU CyberNet Expert Pool members with advanced knowledge of current trends and skills to address challenges of disinformation in cyber crisis management.

Summer School will cover and discuss the following:

  • Concept of disinformation and differences from misinformation and propaganda.
  • The role of AI in creation and the spread of disinformation.
  • The role of disinformation in hindering cyber resilience.
  • AI-driven threat intelligence tools.
  • The impact of disinformation to trust in institutions and to decision-making.
  • Rapid response mechanisms to counter false narratives.
  • Role of social media in cyber crisis.
  • Strategies for crisis communication.
  • Current regulation and ethical concerns regarding to AI-generated disinformation.
  • Real-world case studies.

EU CyberNet aims to train up to 40 of experts using train-the-trainer approach who would be able to transfer their knowledge in future EU CyberNet missions.

Application will open in the upcoming weeks and is only open to the members of Expert Pool.
