Stakeholder Community

We bring together the stakeholders of EU's cybersecurity

Who they are

The EU CyberNet stakeholder community is an essential part of the EU CyberNet project that brings together the national cyber authorities, cybersecurity organisations, expert groups, think tanks and academic institutions from the EU Member States. As members of the community they will be able to share their best practices and lessons learned in prior cyber capacity building activities or ongoing external cyber actions and thereby increase the outreach to partner countries significantly.

The stakeholder community members participate in the discussion fora of different cyber disciplines, contribute with experts to future or ongoing projects, and also participate in identifying the needs, gaps and risks of partner countries. The community members support the implementation of the project by sharing information with their peers in the community and bringing together first-line cybersecurity practitioners, field experts, trainers, etc. The Terms of Reference of the EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community can be found here.

Member benefits

New professional relationships

Participation in EU CyberNet will enable you to establish new professional relationships across the EU (and possibly beyond), diversify and enrich your everyday working life and provide access to wide range of information on cyber-related activities. It's a gateway to shape the advice the network can provide to the EU.

Insights for policymaking

EU CyberNet enhances collaboration within the European Union and brings unique insight for policymaking.

Annual conferences and meetings

To foster mutual trust between experts, EU CyberNet foresees building up a trustworthy community both on- and offline, providing its members with an international platform on which to interact at conferences, training events and other EU CyberNet meetings.

Show interest as a stakeholder

Membership in the EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community is open to cybersecurity organisations, academic institutions, national cyber authorities, development agencies, think tanks, and NGOs from the EU Member States, and likeminded countries, as well as EU funded cybersecurity capacity building projects, and international bodies as appropriate to the purposes of the project. Showing interest as a potential stakeholder does not automatically mean joining the Stakeholder Community. We kindly invite you to familiarise yourself with the Stakeholder Community's Terms of Reference. The project team will verify the request and send a separate link with information necessary for joining.
