Stakeholder Community

EU CyberNet gathers different European stakeholders who are interested or actively involved in external cyber capacity building

Who they are

The EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community is an essential part of the EU CyberNet project that brings together the national cyber authorities, cybersecurity organisations, development agencies, think tanks and academic institutions from the EU Member States, as well as the Cyber Project Community. As members of the community they will be able to share their best practices and lessons learned in prior cyber capacity building activities or ongoing external cyber actions and thereby increase the outreach to partner countries significantly.

The Stakeholder Community members participate in the discussion fora of different cyber disciplines, contribute with experts to future or ongoing projects, and also participate in identifying the needs, gaps and risks of partner countries. The community members support the implementation of the project by sharing information with their peers in the community and bringing together first-line cybersecurity practitioners, field experts, trainers, etc. The Terms of Reference of the EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community can be found here.

The Stakeholder Community entails a sub-group called the Cyber Project Community (CPC). This includes all EU-funded external cyber capacity building projects, which are outlined in our CCB projects mapping.

Member benefits

Finding the right expertise

EU CyberNet helps to find suitable cyber experts for stakeholders’ concrete needs and profiles through Calls for Action. Stakeholders can look for different consultants, trainers, trainees, speakers or attendees based on the needed skills and experiences.

Community building

EU CyberNet manages the community to facilitate interactions at various meetings and establish new professional relationships. Stakeholders can participate at the annual Stakeholder Community Day that brings together partners from EU Member States to strengthen collaboration and discuss external cyber capacity building issues, and monthly Club events on various cyber-related issues.

Knowledge sharing

EU CyberNet enhances collaboration and provides a one-stop-shop for information sharing regarding external cyber capacity building. EU CyberNet Knowledge Hub gathers the useful information regarding external cyber capacity building.
