EU CyberNet Participated in Regional Cybersecurity Exchange and the Launch of the Cyber Cluster Global Alliance in Costa Rica

EU CyberNet,together with LAC4, participated in the EU-LAC Digital Alliance technical exchange visit on cybersecurity and secure connectivity in Central America and the Cybersec Summit 2026 in San José, Costa Rica on 11-12 August 2026.

The exchange and summit brought together cybersecurity authorities, practitioners, regional organisations and international partners to discuss cybersecurity governance, operational resilience and secure connectivity. EU CyberNet’s participation focused on strengthening relationships with cybersecurity stakeholders across Central America and promoting expert-driven cooperation and peer learning. Moreover, new opportunities were identified, building on EU CyberNet’s experience, for future community building and cyber capacity building activities, particularly through engagement with the Expert Pool community.
