Save the Date: EU CyberNet Winter School 2027 to Take Place in January in Portugal

EU CyberNet Winter School 2027 will take place from 27 to 29 January in Tomar, Portugal. The 2nd edition, titled “Governing Agentic AI: From Oversight to Operational Resilience”, focuses on how organisations can adopt artificial intelligence (AI) and agentic systems while ensuring the continuous delivery of services during disruptions in AI systems.

Winter School will give participants an understanding of AI governance gap and the skills to identify and map institutional AI dependencies. Participants will also learn to assess how cybersecurity policies are adapted in practice and how to integrate AI resilience into cyber capacity building actions. Using a train-the-trainer approach, the Winter School aims to train up to 20 experts from EU CyberNet Expert Pool, equipping them to transfer their knowledge during future EU CyberNet’s missions and build cyber resilience in their own countries.

EU CyberNet, a project funded by the European Union within the EU Global Threats Programme and implemented by the Estonian Information System Authority and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), is organising the Winter School in cooperation with Lisbon Business and Government School and Polytechnic University of Tomar as part of KreativEU alliance (Knowledge & Creativity European University), and AI-POL (Advancing Innovation, Governance and Responsible AI in Law Enforcement), an initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by UNICRI and INTERPOL.

Application call is open to the members of EU CyberNet Expert Pool only.
