Workshop for Pacific Island Countries on Climate-Resilient Critical Infrastructure

EU CyberNet, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Canberra is organising a regional workshop for Pacific Island Countries to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure against the growing impacts of cyber threats, climate change and emerging technologies.

Australia, Canberra

Bringing together policymakers and technical experts from Pacific Island countries, the workshop will explore practical approaches to protecting essential services and government systems. Participants will exchange experiences on integrated risk management, supply chain security, incident response, resilient infrastructure design and the implications of artificial intelligence and quantum technologies for critical infrastructure.

The interactive program will combine expert presentations, case studies, group discussions and a scenario-based crisis simulation, providing participants with practical tools and opportunities for regional peer learning.

The workshop aims to strengthen cooperation between Pacific Island Countries and the European Union, identify priorities for climate-resilient and cyber-resilient infrastructure, and promote regional collaboration to enhance the security and continuity of essential services.
