Pacific Cyber Week

The EU CyberNet project Director Liina Areng will be attending the Pacific Cyber Week, a key event bringing together cybersecurity leaders and policymakers from across the Pacific region.

This conference provides a valuable opportunity to discuss critical topics such as emerging technologies, cybercrime and regional cooperation. The event will also feature Pacific Cyber Capacity Building Coordination Conference (P4C), that brings together cybersecurity leaders and policymakers from all Pacific Islands Forum members, alongside representatives from the governments of the Partners in the Blue Pacific. The aim is to discuss the future of cybersecurity and capacity building in the region, strengthen relationships with key partners, share experiences and foster a more coordinated, strategic approach to future capacity-building efforts.

As EU CyberNet embarks on its second phase this September – with a dedicated geographic focus on the Indo-Pacific region – the Pacific Cyber Week will be instrumental in identifying the specific cyber capacity building needs of countries in the region and coordinating our efforts with other international donors to ensure a cohesive and impactful approach.
