Pacific Cyber Week 2026

EU CyberNet, together with Czech Republic, will contribute to Pacific Cyber Week 2026 with an interactive discussion on strengthening cyber resilience in small island states. EU CyberNet session at Pacific Cyber Week 2026 is titled “Building Whole-of-Society Resilience for Critical Infrastructure and Supply Chain Security.”

Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby

This interactive discussion will share practical experience from small states on applying a whole-of-society approach to strengthening resilience in critical infrastructure protection. It will explore how public–private partnerships can support preparedness and enable coordinated responses to cyber threats and highlight key elements of resilient ecosystems, including regulation, trusted information sharing, cross-border cooperation and capacity building. It will reflect on how critical infrastructure protection is prioritised, what lessons have proven effective, and how these experiences may be adapted in other contexts.

It will highlight lessons from small states on addressing cyber risks, supply chain dependencies, limited resources and workforce challenges, while examining how resilient ecosystems can be built through public-private partnerships and international cooperation.

The discussion will bring together diverse perspectives to support mutual learning and identify adaptable solutions for strengthening cybersecurity resilience in different national context.
