Maritime Cyber Lab 2026

EU CyberNet Expert Prof. Vasile Draghici moderates a panel discussion at Maritime Cyber Lab 2026.

Maritime Cyber Lab 2026 is an international expert forum convened by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office. Forum brings together representatives from across the maritime sector, including ports, shipping companies, international organizations, maritime insurance companies, financial institutions and technology actors.

Panel discussion, titled “Advancing Capacity Development in Maritime Cybersecurity” along with other discussions aims facilitate a structured dialogue on practical approaches to strengthening maritime cyber resilience, with particular attention to operational experiences, governance frameworks, and capacity-building needs across the maritime ecosystem.

Panel discussion is attended by Chloe Rowland (International Association of Ports and Harbors – IAPH), Juuso Jarviniemi (DG CNCT), Peter Van Eeckhoutte (Corlean) and Serguei Ouattara (EU-Africa Chamber of Commerce).
