9th INHOPE Summit 2026

EU CyberNet will participate in the 9th Annual Summit of INHOPE titled Pathways to Safer Systems to take place during 6-7 October 2026, hosted by Meta in Dublin, Ireland. This is INHOPE’s annual flagship event to combat child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online.

Taking place in Dublin, the 9th INHOPE Summit will bring together leaders from hotline, law enforcement, financial institutions, technology platforms, AI developers, regulators and civil society, united around research, evidence and action.

This year’s theme “Pathways to Safer Systems” shifts the focus from understanding online child sexual abuse to building the coordinated systems needed to prevent it. Through expert discussions, new research and cross-sector collaboration, participants will dig into the psychological, technological, financial and regulatory dimensions of online harm, with a clear ambition: turning evidence into accountability and commitments into action.

This summit is closely aligned with EU CyberNet’s awareness raising and youth engagement efforts. Earlier this year, EU CyberNet successfully piloted our cyber hygiene sessions for young people and further sessions are expected to be delivered in the Indo-Pacific region soon. Staying safe online from predatory behavior is already a core component of these sessions, making EU CyberNet’s participation in the Summit a valuable opportunity to align EU CyberNet’s approach with the latest research and cross-sector practices and to strengthen EU CyberNet’s contribution to child online safety as part of project’s broader awareness-raising efforts.
