EU CyberNet contributes to the 4th Brunei Cybersecurity Conference 2026 (CySec 2026) with a technical hands-on session, taking place on 16 September.

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam

Organised under the theme “Resilient by Design: Protecting Critical Infrastructure”, EU CyberNet contributes to the conference with a session on open-source intelligence (OSINT), cyber threat intelligence (CTI) and AI-assisted cyber investigations. Participants will explore advanced OSINT techniques, threat intelligence workflows, AI-supported information collection and analysis, prompt engineering and intelligence reporting.

Through exercises and investigation scenarios, participants will learn how to combine AI with traditional OSINT and CTI methods while understanding key risks, including hallucinations, misinformation, data privacy and prompt injection.

Additionally, EU CyberNet Director Liina Areng participates in a session dedicated to “AI for Cyber Defense & Responsible AI Security.”

CySec 2026 is organised by Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) and Brunei Cybersecurity Association (BCSA). EU CyberNet is an official international partner of the conference.
