EU CyberNet Summer School 2026

EU CyberNet in partnership with EU Cyber Direct and Cyber 4.0 and with expertise from the European External Action Service is organising the 5th EU CyberNet Summer School ”Cyber Diplomacy: From Norms to Actions – Governing Cyberspace in a Fractured World” from 29 to 31 July 2026 in Florence, Italy.

The Summer School aims to equip EU CyberNet Expert Pool members with strategic, legal and practical tools to strengthen project partner countries’ cyber diplomacy capacity to enable countries to effectively engage in multilateral processes and respond to cyber threats:

  • Understanding the UN Global Permanent Mechanism
  • Bridging the gap between norms and practice: supporting countries in moving from political commitment to operational implementation of norms.
  • Cyber diplomacy toolkit, including the EU Cyber Diplomacy Toolbox.

EU CyberNet aims to train up to 20 experts, using train-the-trainer approach, who would be able to transfer their knowledge in future EU CyberNet missions.

Summer School is open to members of Expert Pool only.
