EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community Day 2023

EU CyberNet Stakeholder Community Day focuses on the practical aspects and lessons learned of external cyber capacity building (CCB) and provides the participants with important insights into ongoing EU’s and Member States’ external actions and plans, as well as a forum to discuss with fellow members and receive good practices.

Activities in the region with a special emphasis on Ukraine and EU’s support after the Russian military aggression. Different donors and implementers in the Eastern Neighbourhood countries will be invited to share their activities, followed by a discussion.

11:30 – 12:30 Roundtable: Latin America and Caribbean

Introduction of the cyber capacity building landscape in the LAC region and EU’s activities and initiatives, alongside of other European donors’ and implementers’ updates on their engagement, followed by a discussion.

12:30 – 12:45 Presentation: Cyber capacity building projects mapping 2.0

FPI and EU CyberNet will introduce the new version of the CCB projects mapping.

13:45 – 15:15 Thematic workshop: Delivering cyber capacity building in a crisis situation

The session will focus on the topic of delivering CCB activities in an unstable environment due to cyber attacks or other crises. Participants will speak about good practices and lessons learned on how to make the delivery of CCB in an efficient manner and in a difficult environment. The session includes a scenario-based group discussion and a panel discussion.

15:45 – 16:25 Presentation: Operational Guidance

The updated Operational Guidance on the EU’s International Cooperation on Cyber Capacity Building will be introduced and practical examples on how to use the document both by donors and implementers will be given for the benefit of their CCB efforts.
