The EU Cyber Forum aims to showcase the European Union’s diplomatic, economic and political efforts in the cyber and digital domains and to promote international cooperation and the exchange of best practices worldwide. It is supported through the funding from the Partnership Instrument of the European Union.

This year’s panel sessions will feature discussions focused on broader policy and political themes, such as:

  • Digital society after COVID-19: building a global cyber resilience regime
  • Preventing conflicts in cyberspace: navigating a multiconceptual world
  • Global efforts to counter cybercrime: leveraging commonalities, bridging differences
  • Navigating the world of data diplomacy
  • New era of digital and cyber alliances

Together with our partners, we have also put together several working sessions to allow for more in-depth discussions. These include:

  • Cybersecurity certification: EU and global outlook (in cooperation with the EU Agency for Cybersecurity)
  • New trends in cybercrime and the future of international cooperation (in cooperation with the European Cybercrime Centre)
  • Internationalising (critical) infrastructure and functions protection (in cooperation with DG Home) International security and emergency response cooperation.
